I'm a Professional Celebrant, based in Ireland, with many years experience, specialising in both religious and non-religious Wedding (I'm a fully registered Solemniser) and end of life, Funeral ceremonies.
I have enjoyed a wide and varied career, from working in the area of personal injury claims for Insurance companies, working on a family farm & butcher business and as a wedding planner/coordinator.
I have found that having had such diverse life experiences, whilst
working in a variety of careers, has served me very well in working as a celebrant, where I encounter people from many different backgrounds and walks of life. I am very proud indeed, with the client feedback that I receive.
My role will always be to deliver each and every ceremony, with the utmost care, respect, dedication and sensitivity.
Every celebrant works differently, however, I am confident that very few apply the same level of time, care and attention into their clients, as I do. I explain more in the video below:
My background and journey
My career experiences have been wide and varied but they all have one thing in common, and that's working with and getting to know people. I really enjoy meeting people from all backgrounds and learning about their story and journey.
I was raised on a family farm in rural Wexford and now live between Wexford and Dublin where I also have a home. I also love to spend time in West Cork, a place of great beauty and energy.
Completing a two year training programme with the OneSpirit Interfaith Foundation, is one of the best decisions I have made in my life.
I started the programme at a difficult period in my own life and it has been a life changing experience. It allowed me the ability to deep dive into myself. I did not and still would not describe myself as religious.
I describe myself as spiritual and it is a privilege to work with people of all faiths and none.

As a character, I am calm, confident and eloquent. I am at ease in all social occasions and find it easy to instigate conversations with new people. I find my friendly disposition enables my clients to feel at ease when meeting me too.
No matter what type of ceremony you have in mind, I'll make sure it is perfect
I care deeply about my clients
When we meet to discuss planning the ceremony, I always think it is important for to really get to know and understand the people who's lives I am representing, in order to find the right words, to communicate perfectly, what needs saying on the day.
